“YOUTH ACTIVISM FOR BLM”

The thought process behind the project is black lives matter. We decided to create this because of everything that is going on in the world right now. This displays youth led activism because the youth has been leading the protest. They have been supporting and participating in all the black lives matter movements.
“SNOW ON THA BLUFF” by J.Cole
J. Cole delivers a single continuous verse that speaks on various issues facing the United States, including police brutality, wealth inequality, and racism. He also asks for his fans to not idolize him, wanting to instead be perceived as a regular person. It’s similar to the youth leading BLM because J.Cole is a big influence to the youth. He was also part of one of the protests that happened in LA. J.Cole speaks on the BLM movement which a lot of teens are leading.
